Prof. Mohamed Hatha is a Fulbright scholar with more than 2S years Of experience in teaching and research in various universities in India and abroad. He started off his career in the seafood industry as Head Of Quality Assurance Division Of a leading seafood processor and exporter. where he developed HACCP based functioning for the seafood industry for the first time in India. He was also instrumental in getting the coveted USFOA 'A' listing to the firm. The course is developed on the basis of his hands-on experience in the seafood industry. Based on his contributions to the field Of microbiology. he is currently appointed as Country Ambassador of American Society of Microbiology. Being a passionate teacher cum researcher he has carved a niche in the academic community. Prof. Hatha has extensive experience in research and travelled all the continents including both the poles. the Arctic and the Antarctic.
Being a prolific researcher. Dr. Hatha published more than 200 research articles In peer reviewed journals of international repute. and has authored/ edited 1 1 books.
He is a consultant to leading seafood exporters in India.
